Councilor for the area of ​​Quality of Life, Francisco Calderón, confirmed this morning that the City Council, through the area of ​​Sustainable Development, led by José López, has handled in a few days the letter sent by the Directorate General of Transport of CARM , In which the demand was collected from the residents of Playa Paraiso for the creation of a bus stop on line 20, corresponding to the itinerary between Cartagena and La Manga.
Thus, Calderón said that "the letter of the neighbors to the CARM is dated July 28, 2016, a document that the regional government took ten months to transfer to the City of Cartagena, specifically on May 25, 2017.
In this sense, the mayor stressed that "the municipal government has reported this matter in just a few weeks, communicating to CARM on June 28 the viability of the stops on Bomilcar and Aníbal streets", located in the urban case Of Playa Paraiso.
Finally, Francisco Calderón has pointed out that "we are confident that this is not a new maneuver to prevent residents and tourists of the Region of Cartagena receive the treatment and the service they deserve."
