A day after the statement of the spokesperson of the popular municipal group, Francisco Espejo, the expropriated and three municipal officials before the Court of Instruction number 5 of Cartagena for the expropriation of the Hotel Peninsular, José López's procedural representation has decided to request new proceedings.
The reason for this request is the inconsistency and lack of veracity of the complaint, as well as the serious accusations that Francisco Espejo continues to fall in a fallacious and uncontrolled way against the administrative action and the work of the officials.
This measure is articulated as a useful medium that proves the inexistence of any illicit in the face of political persecution and the witch-hunt initiated by the PP.
It is requested, specifically the statement of the councilman of the PP, Alvaro Valdés, who yesterday was known new data in relation to his business interests in the adjoining hospitality business and in the property itself, and that could be the reason why his Party has a special interest in not extending municipal services to the citizen in that property.
On the other hand, statements are also requested as witnesses of the director of the municipal legal counsel and of which he was director general of urbanism, as well as an official letter on the suitability of the budget line used.
All these proceedings are intended to endorse the absolute legality of the processing of the file and to allow it to be established without delay, at all times reserving José López, and all members of the party, legal actions against the local PP and its councilors who in Right correspond.
