A total of 55 Professional Training students and 10 university students have carried out training through the Training Service of the City of Cartagena, within the 2016/2017 Training Plan, which have added more than 18,000 hours of practical training in various municipal services and departments .
Every year the Training Service of the City Council draws up a list of internships where students from Vocational Training institutes and universities can carry out their internships in the City of Cartagena.
Once received the different applications are assigned a tutor in the different services that accompany the students during their work in the City.
This course, students of Vocational Training have carried out their practices throughout these months in the Services of the City of Equality, Youth, New Technologies, Archives, Children's Schools, Infrastructures, Archaeological Museum, Popular University, Municipal Laboratory and Human Resources.
The students come from the vocational training centers Carlos III, Colegio Santa Maria Micaela - Adoratrices, IES Mediterranean, IES the Bohio, IES Polytechnic, CIFP School of Hospitality and Tourism, Adult Education of Cartagena, and they have made a total of 15,564 hours of practices.
On the other hand, a dozen university students have carried out their practices, from the University of Murcia (UMU), University Polytechnic of Cartagena (UPCT) and the Center affiliated to UMU, ISEN, as well as the University of Valencia, Two students of a master's degree in Architectural Heritage.
The services where they have carried out the practices have been the Legal Services, the Press Office, the Archaeological Museum, Culture, Education, Human Resources and Infrastructures.
The number of hours realized reaches 2,425 and the duration of the masters is of 180 hours.
