Local Police of Cartagena intervened this Sunday, July 2, in the area of ​​the station sector, to help an individual who suffered epileptic seizures and had symptoms of meningitis.
The events took place on Sunday morning, when the Local Police of Cartagena received a call to 092 that warned that a man was suffering an epileptic seizure.
Up to the place were three police units composed of six agents, who requested medical assistance given the state of the victim.
They had to hold and immobilize the person involved to prevent him from suffering any type of trauma, due to the seizures he suffered.
The UME medicalized unit succeeded in stabilizing the 26-year-old Ukrainian individual, who showed early meningitis and was transferred to Hospital Santa Lucía to be recognized by health personnel.
For their part, the agents were isolated at the Hospital Perpetuo Socorro, in order to be taken care of if the result was positive.
At 17:30 hours the final results ruled out the spread of meningitis.
