The Ministry of Presidency and Development has tendered the works of conservation of a section of the regional road RM-E26, in the municipality of Cartagena, which communicates the urban centers of Cuesta Blanca and Perín.
The tender notice was published today by the Official Gazette of the Region of Murcia and the tender price amounts to 139,853 euros.
The Director General of Roads, José Antonio Fernández Lladó, explained that the RM-E26 is a regional road of third level, with a length of six kilometers, which supports an annual traffic intensity of 85,000 vehicles a day, of which around 7,500 are heavy vehicles.
The section between kilometers 2.9 and 4.2 is deteriorated and deformed, with a very irregular surface that makes the circulation uncomfortable, which is why it is necessary a conservation action that includes the repair of the firm with purpose To improve the characteristics of the tread layer.
The works that contemplates the project that is tendered, with a term of execution of two months, consist in the cleaning and formation of ditches;
Extension of a base layer of bituminous mixture in those areas where it is necessary to regularize the grade of the road;
Reinforcement of the firm with a second layer of bituminous mixture;
Lining the shoulders with concrete to prevent the development of weeds and weeds;
And renovation of vertical and horizontal signage.
The deadline for the submission of bids will be July 27th at 1:00 p.m.
