Cartagena Puerto de Culturas begins its program of guided tours for this summer.
"From Monday to Saturday visitors can enjoy a different route from the hand of official guides that will explain the rich history of Cartagena, all the civilizations that entered the port with details and anecdotes that will enrich their experience in the city," has Explained the mayor and president of Cartagena Port of Cultures, Ana Belén Castejón.
"In this way we want to guarantee that our visitors will be able to enjoy all the days of different activities, which will make even more attractive the visit to our city," said Castejón.
The week will start on Monday with 'Great Conquests and Battles', a route that will reveal the battles and decisive conquests in Cartagena, as the confrontations between Carthaginians and Romans in the Punic Wall, the struggles of Moors and Christians in the Castle of the Conception or the most recent war conflict of our country, the Civil War in the Museum Refuge of the Civil War.
The exit of the route will be from the Punic Wall at 11:00 p.m.
On Tuesdays you will continue with Carthago Nova, the city of the gods, an exceptional visit that will take you to contemplate the classic beauty of the Museum and the Roman Theater, continue through the Roman Forum District with the thermal baths, the banqueting building and the Sanctuary of Isis to finish in the Augusteum, a temple dedicated to the emperor Octavio Augustus.
The departure will be made from the Museo del Teatro Romano at 11:00 p.m.
