The Port of Santa Bárbara, organized by its Party Commission and in which the Council of Festivities of the City Council of Cartagena collaborates, begin on Friday June 30 their popular festivals.
Ten days dedicated to different themes so that all neighbors and visitors can enjoy music, gastronomy and games.
This Friday at 9:30 p.m., the firing of rockets will be the signal to start the holidays and the opening of the canteen.
That night the different championships will begin and the duo 'Gala' will put music to the evening and will give to the neighbors with the pasodoble of the town, 'The Ports of Santa Bárbara'.
The party will continue on Saturday and Sunday, among which activities include the championship of children's table football on Saturday night.
The week will begin dedicated to the children who can enjoy all the afternoon of Monday of children's games, and already at night of mats.
On Tuesday will be the traditional day of the housewives with a dinner of coexistence with dishes prepared by the members of this group.
The migas will be the protagonists of Wednesday night, in which the neighbors are invited to come with the arrangements to cook them (the festival committee puts the flour and oil) and enter the draw for a ham, a loin and A ball of cheese
To lower the crumbs there will be an exhibition and zumba session followed by mojitos to quench thirst after physical exercise.
On Thursday a foam party will be held from 22:15 p.m. and on Friday the day dedicated to the elderly.
Saturday and Sunday, July 8 and 9, will be the big days of these holidays.
The Saturday will begin with a cyclist return neutralized by the streets of the town after which a bicycle will be raffled between all the participants.
That night will be a costume party with gifts for the little ones and the dispute of the absolute championship of table football.
Sunday will start the day with a Mass in the Hermitage of the Port of Santa Barbara at 10:30 hours.
Finally, with a night rociera to which is invited to go dressed, will end the holidays this year.
