CTSSP will take to the Next Plenary a motion to begin the elaboration of the Construction and Demolition Waste Ordinance, since the municipality has a real garbage belt of this kind that affect natural spaces, hills, rambles and rural roads , among others.
After the ecological damage and danger to public health, the proliferation of this waste generates an unnecessary expense to the public coffers (as much for the cleaning of the grounds as for the absence of the payment of the corresponding rates), favors the growth of the landfills Illegal and damaging to those companies that are dedicated to having landfills in conditions and can not compete in those circumstances.
In addition to abundant European regulations, there are state decrees and a CARM Waste Plan of 2016 for municipalities to adjust their regulations by developing their own ordinances that serve to reduce construction waste, favor recycling and reuse as well as reduce the consumption of Raw materials, such as the unnecessary exploitation of new quarries.
In this way, CTSSP intends to follow the example of other municipalities in the Region (such as Murcia), which thanks to the elaboration and implementation of a specific ordinance have managed to improve the management of construction and demolition waste.
The motivation of this initiative is in the agreement of 40 more points that CTSSP has recently signed with MC and PSOE, which is why the municipal group is expected to support and implement the government, in addition to improving management Of construction waste appears in the electoral programs of 4 of the 5 parties that compose the municipal plenary.
