The mayor and president of the Local Development and Employment Agency (ADLE), Ana Belén Castejón, and the territorial director of Banco Mare Nostrum (BMN), Olga García Saz, signed an agreement this morning to facilitate access to financing Small and medium-sized enterprises, as well as the self-employed.
This is a line of microcredit, between 1,500 and 5,000 euros, at an interest of 3%, will be subsidized in its entirety by the ADLE.
"We have negotiated a very competitive interest rate.
In addition, borrowers will not have to pay opening, cancellation or study fees.
We want the availability of money ranging between 1,500 and 5,000 euros, do not be an obstacle for our entrepreneurs to start their businesses or ensure their stability during the first months.
We want to help them and we consider that this is a good way to do it ", stressed the mayoress.
Those interested can apply in the ADLE, at Caridad street, 1, which will then send it to BMN, who will process the request from its headquarters in San Francisco.
The Bank will ask for the usual documentation for the risk study and will process it as they do with any other request.
Once the loan is approved, the ADLE will be informed to award the grant.
"We are well aware that sometimes the lack of liquidity to meet the initial expenses of a business prevents many entrepreneurs from starting it.
For this reason we decided to create this line of microcredit that is complementary to the one we already have available and whose conditions are really beneficial for the applicants, "added Castejón.
The repayment term of these loans is, at most, 36 months.
