The High Technical School of Industrial Engineering of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT), in the Campus Muralla del Mar, hosted on Sunday June 25 the tests for the provision of 42 posts of administrative assistant of the City of Cartagena.
The results of the test will be published in the public employment section of the website of the Town Council of Cartagenar in the next 10 days.
A total of 2615 people were summoned to the examination, and the celebration coincided with the arrival of two cruises to the port with more than 5,500 passengers on board, reason for which the Local Police organized a special device for that day, which also counted With an ambulance in the same place of the examination that was developed without incidents that required of its intervention.
Approximately 75% of the candidates were submitted to the test, according to the survey conducted by the 64 volunteers who controlled and organized the examination.
In addition there were 10 coordinators, each assigned to 3 classrooms.
The doors of the building that housed the test opened their doors at 9:50 am.
The opponents had a panel at the entrance that indicated the classroom that had been assigned to them, and also in each classroom were indicated the candidates that surname to that last name, in alphabetical order, were examined in the same.
The first test of the examination began at 11:00 am, as the appeal went on longer than expected.
In total, 31 classrooms were distributed across the three floors of the building and the first test ended at 12:15.
The test consisted of 60 test-type questions with 4 response options each.
The second test began at 13:00 hours, although the rest was expected to be only 15 minutes, as a result of the large number of candidates who came to the service during the break and the consequent verification of identities upon their return.
The test consisted of three practical cases of which the examinees had to choose two of the cases, each with 20 questions type test and 4 options of answer.
The examination ended at 2:15 pm, although on the disability turn, one of the candidates with a high visual impairment was given an additional hour to complete the exam because of the difficulty he had in reading the text.
Within this shift, candidates with reduced mobility were placed on the ground floor, and the two candidates with visual impairment adapted the exam pages to size DIN A3.
During the examination there were no incidents to highlight, beyond some complaints about the delay of the schedules.
