The Council of Social Services and Social Mediation has distributed 100 tickets between different social groups (Rascasa, La Huertecica and different groups of immigrants) to attend the solidarity concert 'Rock and Mar Menor En Vivo' to be held on 24 June.
The objective of the event is to make society aware of the need to care for and value this natural enclave of the Region.
The concert will bring together the performances of the bands Invisible Dance, Los Rebeldes and Tennessee, which is part of the cycle 'Las Noches del Torres'.
The proceeds will be destined to continue with a project to recover sand and coastal areas in the Mar Menor on a small scale that has transformed the southern slope of Monte Blanco, which was full of tires and garbage, through a process Environmental restoration and creation of a landscaped area, in addition to continuing with the repopulation of native flora in the loaves of Lo Poyo, in addition to other performances in Las Salinas de Marchamalo or La Manga, if the collection allowed.
