Some 160 sailors embarked on about 30 sailboats participate in the XXVIII edition of the Cartagena-Ibiza Regatta Grand Trophy Star of Levante IX Pierre Delone Cup for boats ORC of equal or greater length of 30 feet, organized by the Real Club de Regatas de Cartagena (RCRC) next to the Sant Antoni de Portmany NÃ utic Club, with Estrella de Levante as its official sponsor.
This nautical event opens each year the summer season, and is validated along with two other tests for the achievement of the Spanish Championship of Height ORC.
This edition of the classic Cartagena-Ibiza regatta, of recognized prestige already among the practitioners of this discipline has three distinct categories and an absolute winner.

The 30 registered boats have sailed this Thursday, June 22, from the dock of the RCRC in the Bay of Cartagena, to conduct a route of 170 nautical miles that will conclude on Saturday 24 with the arrival in the port ibicenco Sant Antoni de Portmany.
The trophy will be held there on Saturday afternoon.
Several dozen people have attended as a public at the exit, which has taken place around 11.00 hours, at points recommended by the organization such as the Curra Lighthouse and the Christmas Lighthouse.
