Carmelo Reverte, professor of the Department of Financial Economics and Accounting and coordinator of the doctoral program in Economics, Business and Legal Sciences of the UPCT has been awarded nationally in the XXIII Edition of the AECA Awards of Articles on Accounting and Business Administration.
The award has been awarded for the work entitled 'The irruption of Fintech: a paradigm shift in business financing'.
The paper examines the important boom in financing platforms based on the use of the Internet and new technologies (known as FinTech) and which are assuming a real redefinition of the financial sector by offering innovative financial products and services in a more efficient, fast and With better user experience.
In his article, Prof. Reverte points out that, in the presence of an appropriate regulatory framework, FinTech can become one of the main tools to support SMEs and entrepreneurs and thus stimulate sustainable economic growth.
Reverte picked up his award yesterday at the Club Financiero Génova in Madrid, during the event of the XIII Edition of the Articles of Accounting and Business Administration Awards.
This is the third consecutive year that Carmelo Reverte has been awarded the AECA Awards for Accounting and Business Administration.
