The Councilor for Youth at work, Ricardo Segado, met Tuesday with the Vice-rector of Communication and Culture of the UM (University of Murcia), Mónica Galdana, to advance the specific agreement within the framework agreement of collaboration between the City of Cartagena And the educational institution, signed in July of last year.
During the meeting, held in Murcia, addressed various issues of common interest for both institutions, so as to establish new avenues of collaboration between the Department of Youth and UM.
In this sense, Segado explained that "in order to develop concrete collaboration agreements, after the signing last year of the framework agreement, we have closed the bases of reciprocity between UM students and their centers attached to the services and programs that We can offer from the Department of Youth.
In this way, UM students will be able to join and benefit from various programs and services offered by Youth, such as the Mandarache Prize, Implica2 or the specific advice of the Youth Space to thousands of students.
"For participating, they will be able to access credit recognition within their curriculum," said the councilman, who added that "for all this we consider this collaboration very fruitful."
This agreement will have an annual duration and may be extended tacitly for an indefinite period.
JOINT WORK
The objective of the agreement reached between both institutions last year has as its main objective the collaboration in activities of mutual interest for their economic, social, environmental, scientific, cultural or educational importance, committing itself to carry out in a joint way all those activities that result For the benefit of both parties.
Among them is the establishment of common programs of action in matters of interest to university students to complete their training and increase their social participation.
