The Commission of Education and Culture Committee of the Assembly today approved a motion of the Socialist Parliamentary Group in which it demanded the integral remodeling of the institute Isaac Peral of Cartagena.
Choni Ludeña, the socialist deputy who has defended this initiative indicated that this center was inaugurated in 1968 and "is in a painful state of conservation, with facilities that have practically not been touched since it opened its doors and in which only Have made patches. "
Through this center have passed, passed and will continue to pass thousands of students, being one of the largest institutes in the municipality of Cartagena.
Ludeña asks the regional government to include in the budgets of the next year sufficient economic endowment to make the settlement of this center a reality.
"From the Socialist Parliamentary Group we emphasize the necessity of executing the budget lines for this and other works to be done".
Ludeña complained that the neglect of these years on the part of the regional government of the PP with the educational infrastructures in the Region is doing enormous damage to the public centers, which are in many cases with ruinous and obsolete facilities, "he concluded.
