On Thursday, June 22 at 20:00 hours in the Josefina Soria Library of the Ramón Alonso Luzzy Cultural Center will take place the Talk-Colloquy "The Attitude Illustrated", by the distinguished professor of Philosophy of the Complutense University of Madrid, Félix Duque Pajuelo, to be presented by Belén Rosa de Gea, from the Cartagena Piensa promoter group.
It is an event that is part of the cultural proposals of the programs 'Cartagena Piensa' and 'Read Think Imagine' of the Department of Culture of the City of Cartagena for the Year of the Enlightenment.
Duque holds a degree in Philosophy and Psychology from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid (1965-1972).
He was Professor of Metaphysics at the University of Valencia from 1982 to 1988 and Gastprofessor at the Hegel-Archiv der Ruhr Universität Bochum between 1983-1985 and 1987-1988.
He obtained the International Prize of Essay Jovellanos in 2003 by the publication of the good Europeans.
Towards a philosophy of contemporary Europe.
His research focuses on classical German philosophy, current art theories and the relations between politics and history.
In this respect, he is the promoter (and coordinator until 2013-2014, due to his retirement) of the University Master's 'Philosophy of History: Democracy and World Order'.
To date, he has authored thirty-five books (eleven of them in Italian) and has prepared nine books of philosophy classics (including a trilingual edition of Heidegger's Art and Space, Two volumes of The Science of Logic of Hegel).
He has also written a manual: The Age of Criticism.
