A work by Cartagena-born artist Ángel Mateo Charris will illustrate the poster of the XXVIII edition of Carthaginians and Romans, which was presented on Thursday at Experiencia 43. Under the motto 'Where history takes root', the poster seeks to unite a Roman element, Rostral column celebrating its naval victories, rooted in the beach, with a carthaginian element such as the elephant, one of the distinguishing elements of its armies.
The two identity signs are located on the beach of Cala Cortina, as a sign that it is an identity festival and outstanding Mediterranean coast, as explained the author.
The Councilor for Tourism of the City of Cartagena, Obdulia Gómez, stressed the importance of these parties as "ambassadors of the city", as its members participate as guests in a large number of historical recreation parties throughout Spain.
