The council of El Albujón begins this Saturday, June 17, its patron saint festivities in honor of San Juan with nine days that are loaded with sports competitions, days of coexistence, trovado evening, children's activities, contests, live music, a procession and an offering Floral in honor of the patron and a medieval market.
The festivities will begin on Saturday with Sports Day.
Several sports activities have been programmed during the day as the sport festival, in the sports hall of El Albujón, with competitions of basketball, volleyball, table tennis, masterclass of zumba and futsal, and the popular cross 'San Juan' .
At night, at 9:00 p.m., it will be the party jubilee, run by Rafael Pérez in the Plaza Mayor, after which will be inaugurated the fairground and the presentation of the court of honor, godmother of adesma and godfathers of the Association of elders.
To finish the day, there will be concert and dance by the Karpe Diem orchestra.
On Sunday, Horse Day, there will be concentration and parade of horses and carriages, rociera mass and day fair, enlivened by the rociero chorus 'Aires del Rocío'.
At night, an 'Andalusian Night' has been programmed with the performances of the group Albicar and Los Chunguitos.
Already on Monday, Third Age Day, there will be food of brotherhood of the Club of the Third Age in House of Pedro, at 14.00 hours, and evening trovera by the Association Trovera José María Marin, at 22.00 hours.
Tuesday will be Women's Day and Wednesday, Children's Day, with various activities throughout the day for the little ones.
On Thursday, June 22, various activities of brotherhood and coexistence have been scheduled on the Day of the Peñas, while on Friday, with the celebration of the Night of San Juan, will be made a floral offering to the pattern of El Albujón.
In addition, at 9 pm, the medieval market will be inaugurated and will be open to the public throughout the weekend, until Sunday 25, in the festival grounds.
The evening will end with a cricket competition, a fireworks display and the Play Summer Party, which will be held until the wee hours of the morning.
Already on Saturday, St. John's Day, there will be tastings of giant paella in the Plaza Mayor, starting at 14.00 hours, and procession in honor of the patron saint of the Cartagena de la Diputación, San Juan.
At night, the orchestra will play the World from 23.00 hours.
On Sunday, the last day of festivities, a parade of comparsas and floats is scheduled at 7.30 pm, and, at night, a variety show and end-of-festival traca.
