The players of the Minerva-Cartagena Féminas continue celebrating the promotion to the Second Feminine Division of soccer.
This Tuesday the staff, the coaching staff and the board have received the recognition of the mayor of the city, José López, and the Councilor for Sports, Ricardo Segado, who have received them in the office of Mayor of the Palace Hall.
There, the representatives of the club have presented to the ediles the first traces of the project in which they are already working for the next season and have talked with them about the successful season that has just closed the Cartagena group.
Likewise, they have presented the mayor with a Barça shirt of the CD Minerva signed by all the players.
Both the mayor and the councilor of Sports have congratulated them on the milestone of this historic ascent and have transmitted their apologies for not being able to perform the tribute for the promotion at the Cartagonova stadium.
López and Segado have dedicated a few words to the players, technical staff and directive and have committed to work to try to help and support the club in everything necessary, given that the demands of the team in the next course, in which they will be in a category More demanding, is greater and therefore so will their needs.
In this regard, we will try to streamline the procedures and deadlines for the resolution of free competition subsidies.
On the other hand, the first mayor has advocated during the talk to banish from the sport, and especially from football, macho attitudes and inequalities as well as to eradicate violence in the stands.
