The senior course of the Aula Taller Theater Theater workshop closes the course 2016/2017 this Friday, June 16, with the staging of an original text by its director and monitor, José Salguero, which will consist of an experimental dramatic exercise where the Development of the work will have different readings in the timeline and action.
The event, which will start at 8.30 pm, will be held in the Assembly Hall of the Fundació Caja Mediterráneo, with free and free admission, and is part of the schedule of events organized by the City of Cartagena on the occasion of the Hernando Year.
After the representation and distribution of diplomas to the participants, the Councilor for Culture of the City of Cartagena, David Martínez, will participate in the award ceremony of the trophy 'Pata de Gallo', which this year marks its third edition and honors a person with Reason for his career in favor of the theater.
In previous years, the honorees were the cartagenero actor Julian Alcaraz and the municipal theatrical teacher, Paqui Olmos.
This year's award has fallen to Vista Alegre's retired worker priest, Antonio Bermejo Hurtado, who since the 1970s collaborated with citizens, creating and organizing Cultural Weeks or Theater in which his church was the meeting point of all Theatrical acts.
Thus, Bermejo had no objection to offering his church for any purpose that might be needed for the people, from nursery, library or even medical consultation.
In addition, he helped create the GITVA theater group in Vista Alegre, a group of young people who in those years made scenic proposals such as Jesus Christ Superstar, Evita or The Passion, for which his church or even his own bedroom acted as a store for clothes , Decorations and props.
Currently, and still being retired, he continues to help in the organization of Cultural Weeks, as well as in all events that require his help.
Therefore, the actor from Cartagena Pedro Segura will attend this tribute in which he will thank the help of Antonio Bermejo and thanks to him, discovered the path of dramatization.
