This Tuesday, June 13, the course 'Introduction to document copies: documentary falsification and intervention with foreign vehicles' is being carried out by the School of Public Security of the City of Cartagena (ESPAC) and in which a total of 25 agents Local Police of Cartagena since last May 24.
The course, which is carried out at the ESPAC facilities in collaboration with the School of Training and Innovation of the public administration of Murcia, is part of the Training Plan of 2017 and has the objective that the agents acquire the appropriate knowledge to be able to Identify the differences between a false and a real document.
The course lasts for 20 hours and incorporates techniques of active participation, as well as personal work by the students in order to prepare a report that will be proposed to teachers.
Thus, throughout this training activity, it discloses the main security measures of public and official documents, show the knowledge to be able to detect the most frequent forgeries that agents can find when requesting documentation .
In addition, they have learned to make an expert report of a dubious document and how to act with vehicles with foreign registration, with special study on the falsification of the driver's license, rack numbers and false registrations.
Throughout the course, a detailed study of document security, manufacturing, printing and personalization, identification of the differences between false and authentic documents, as well as the basic criminal law that can be applied in these situations has been taught.
