Before the regional holiday of June 9, the mayor has clarified that today is commemorated the approval of a statute that "used the history of Cartagena to formalize, as our historical character validated them to become a uniprovincial Autonomous Community."
José López has lamented that, later, "that same statute has forgotten us", and that, now, we have "an Autonomous Community desvertebrate".
"In the case of Cartagena and the 43 other municipalities of the Region, there is nothing to celebrate until they give us aliquot part of what belongs to us. In order to be able to develop and, at the same time, foster the same sentiment," mayor.
An inequality supported by the regional universities that "demonstrate the budget abuse that we receive the rest of municipalities of the Region. We all claim the rights that from the Autonomous Community do not finish recognizing", finished Lopez.
