Cartagena was today the headquarters of the Conference on Innovative Trade, held in the Palace of Aguirre and attended by the Deputy Mayor and Councilor of the Economic Strategy Area, Ana Belén Castejón, and the new director general of Commerce, Francisco Abril.
The Deputy Mayor, Ana Belén Castejón, has taken advantage of this meeting to request to Commerce more aid for the remodeling of the supply places.
"From the City Hall we have made a huge budget effort to increase investment and infrastructure infrastructures in trade. In fact, the budget for this area has tripled. Challenges that we have raised, among which we highlight the remodeling of the markets Santa Florentina and Gisbert and the San Fernando shopping center, "said Castejón.
The deputy mayor recalled that it has been carried out the remodeling of several posts in the Santa Florentina Market and has presented a project to install nine security cameras connected to the central police station.
With respect to Gisbert, Castejón has indicated that the Agency of Local Development and Employment has presented a project to rehabilitate it through mixed programs of training and employment of the SEF.
"The involvement of the regional government is necessary for us to continue developing these projects, as well as their collaboration to access more regional grants," said the deputy mayor.
Ana Belén Castejón thanked the director general of Commerce who chose Cartagena to present the new line of aid to retail trade.
"This shows that we are on the agenda of the regional government, it only needs to be materialized in the granting of new aid," he said.
