About 70 students of institute become from this afternoon speakers of a scientific congress at the Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT), announcing the twenty studies and tests that have developed in the three centers of Cartagena that provide the (IES San Isidoro, Mediterráneo and Isaac Peral, which form the acronym SIMIP that gives name to the event).
Among the most striking presentations that will be made this Thursday, highlights the one that deals with the 'Influence of the Efesé in the socioeconomic environment', but also those that will address the first aid in the sport, the medieval table games and the creation Of a shuttle to control forest fires.
The congress will be inaugurated by the rector, Alejandro Diaz, and the mayor of Cartagena, José López.
Tomorrow, Friday will continue the presentation of papers, with themes such as leisure in the old Carthagonova, eating disorders in adolescence, lack of sleep as a disease and study of the subsoil.
In addition, there will be a session of posters, as in any congress that is worth, and a closing conference by the researcher Santiago Garcia Cremades, better known by his stage name, Aitor Menta, with whom he travels through Spain performing scientific monologues.
Some of the students have been tutored by UPCT professors and all have been able to use the Polytechnic's Resource Center for Learning and Research (CRAI), being able to access their bibliographic background and use their computer equipment.
