Students will be able to receive free in their smartphones more than 350 questions to review and warn the most frequent errors in the selectivity tests
The students of 2 ° of Bachillerato who want to review with their mobile the contents of English of the tests of access to the university can do it from today through its mobile thanks to a bot of the application of messenger Telegram that has programmed the Polytechnic University Of Cartagena (UPCT).
This development allows students to review for free the most frequent mistakes of English in the EBAU, the University Entrance Examination, previously called PAU or Selectividad.
The bot UPCTtraining, a virtual robot programmed by the Digital Content Production Center of the Polytechnic to send messages automatically, can send up to 350 questions with multiple answers to the students, specially chosen for the EBAU.
Completely free, anyone can use the service by searching on Telegram 'UPCTtraining' and signing up.
"The student can at any time ask the bot questions and this one is also proposing every day.
In addition, the student has the option to ask the bot to put back all that has failed so far, "says the Vice Chancellor of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), Mathieu Kessler.
The questions have been elaborated by teachers with a lot of experience in preparing students for the tests of access to the University: Carmen Torres, from IES Mediterráneo de Cartagena;
Paloma López, IES Jiménez de la Espada de Cartagena and Laura Wettersten, native teacher of the Language Service of the UPCT.
The three of them have compiled the questions that pick up the mistakes they have observed year after year in the exams.
Among students with a success rate above 90% and who have answered more than a hundred questions, the UPCT will draw a score of corporate garments.
