The increase in security measures in the Santa Florentina market and the remodeling of the Gisbert shopping center have been the focus of the first meeting of the Infrastructure Committee of the Local Trade Council which was held today under the presidency Of the deputy mayor and councilor of the Economic Strategy Area, Ana Belén Castejón.
"We are taking care of all the requests that we have been presented by the merchants of the supply centers and the shopping centers. We committed ourselves to solve the problems presented to us and now we are presenting the possible solutions", highlighted Ana Belén Castejón.
The deputy mayor has presented to the audience the proposal to place nine security cameras in the plaza of supplies, whose installation has a budget of 52,101 euros.
Of these nine chambers, four would be on the two access doors;
Another four at the main corners of the grocery market to control the interior of the building;
And the novena, on the outside.
"The cameras will be connected to the local police station, so the agents will know in real time what is happening in the market and if there is an incident, they will be able to go immediately. Has highlighted the Deputy Mayor Ana Belén Castejón.
LA ADLE WANTS TO REHABILITATE GISBERT
In addition, the manager of the Local Development and Employment Agency (ADLE), Manuel Mora, has presented to the Infrastructure Committee his proposal to remodel the Gisbert market.
The objective of the ADLE is to take advantage of the mixed programs of Training and Employment to rehabilitate the place of supplies and train forty unemployed.
THE PROJECT WILL BE DEVELOPED IN TWO YEARS AND WOULD ALLOW THE RECOVERY OF THE CLOSED PART OF THE MARKET
"Our goal is to combine the traditional market with more innovative positions, where we give young craftsmen a chance. We want to make an attractive center not only for the buyers of the whole life, but also for the tourists. Will benefit and the artisans will have a new space in which to make their work known, "said the deputy mayor, Ana Belén Castejón.
Representatives of the Economic Strategy Area, the Department of Infrastructures, the Agency for Local Development and Employment, the shopping centers Abierto, San Fernando and La Milla participated in the Infrastructure Committee that met this morning;

On the other hand, the Bureau has collected the proposals of Cenit merchants to further progress in the adaptation of the area, improving signage, cleaning and lighting.
In the same way, the merchants of San Fernando Street have exposed their deficiencies in Infrastructures.
"Solving the neglect that has lived in this area for twenty years is not easy. We need a comprehensive solution and we are seeking help to be able to undertake it," said the deputy mayor.
