The Plaza del Ayuntamiento de Cartagena will become this Friday, June 2, a unique setting for a cultural event that combines art and fashion, and is part of the program of activities to mark the Year of the Enlightenment.
'Moda a la española' will feature the aesthetics and fashion of the eighteenth century, allowing the viewer to move to that historic moment.
The presentation of the event took place in the Consistorial Palace this morning, and it was attended by the councilman of the Area of ​​Culture and Archaeological Heritage, Ricardo Segado, fashion designer, Fernando Aliaga, and the management of the organizing company, Lalumier Events & Communication, Natalia Torres.

The act will start at 18:30 hours with a pictorial performance, where a painting model will represent the scene of the 'Maja Vestida' by Francisco de Goya together with a decoration typical of the time.
Around it, simulating a class of painting typical of the classrooms of the fine arts of the moment, professional and amateur painters will be located, among which we can mention Alvaro Peña, Javier Llorente, Manuel López Menárguez and Marisel Garrido.
Then, at 20:15 hours with the evening lights, will start the fashion show of the designer Fernando Aliaga, his haute couture collection "A walk for the sky", which the author has said is inspired by The idea that he has of the celestial woman "with veined white with glass and made up with red lips to feel powerful.
