The Sustainable Development Area, directed by the mayor, José López, has developed a project that will be hired in the coming weeks for the remodeling of Calle Alfonso XIII in Los Dolores.
In this way, the deficiencies provoked in this street will be corrected with the action that was prompted during the last legislature.
Yesterday, the councilor of Portal and Office of Transparency, Maria Jose Soler, accompanied by the president of the Municipal Board of Los Dolores, Antonio Martinez, visited the surroundings of Alfonso XIII street to know about the field performances Which will run in this location.
The works to be carried out will mainly affect the expansion of parking areas, in addition to improving pedestrian mobility.
REMODELING OUTPUTS ON PARKING BANDS
These protrusions form an independent sidewalk parterre that limited the parking areas.
The project contemplates the demolition of all parterres, a total of 32, of which 27, depending on the direction of road traffic perpendicular to Alfonso XIII street, will be paved to expand the parking area.
The remaining five will be reduced to 1.50 meters in surface that will be paved with slab to prevent the parking next to the intersection and, thus, to guarantee the visibility in the incorporation to the traffic of the street Alfonso XIII.

The alcorques will be reduced by 20 centimeters to expand the pedestrian area and thus achieve a width equal to or greater than 1.50 meters.
Subsequently, trees will be planted, of the species Laurus Nobilis, and filling of alcorque with drainage pavement, while those tree branches that, even reducing them, do not allow a minimum width of 1.50 meters, will be paved with slab.
