This Sunday the Beltrí Commission 2012 organized the last visit of this season to the cemetery of Los Remedios of Santa Lucia.
With this activity, which was attended by more than fifty people, the group continues with its work dedicated to the dissemination of the architectural heritage of Cartagena and its region.
The president of the 2012 Beltrí Commission, Juan Ignacio Ferrández, was in charge of guiding the visitors for an hour and a half through a tour of the pantheons of the great bourgeois families of the late 19th and early 20th centuries as well As well as of famous personages of the history of Cartagena like Isaac Peral.
It was a unique opportunity to know the architecture linked to burials and the stories behind each of these graves as well as the people who rest there, many of them totally unknown to the general public.
At the end of the tour participants voluntarily presented a donation for the benefit of the Little Sisters of the Poor Asylum of Cartagena.
A total of 256 euros were collected.
