The deputy mayor and president of the Agency for Local Development and Employment, Ana Belén Castejón, delivered today the diplomas to the 19 students who have completed the program Connects Neighborhoods of the ADLE in St. Lucia.
Since last January, these 19 students from Los Mateos, Lo Campano, Santa Lucia and Santiago neighborhood have prepared for the tests of obtaining the title of Compulsory Secondary Education (ESO), which will be held on 3 June.
The deputy mayor, who has been accompanied by the manager of the ADLE, Manuel Mora, has congratulated the students for the work they have developed.
"I know that going back to school is not easy, it takes willpower and a lot of effort, but you have done it."
Obtaining this title is only a "first step," as Ana Belén Castejón explained to them.
"The better your training, the more options you will have to get a job. That is why ADLE is at your service, we have a wide range of courses so that you can continue to improve your training," he said.
