Women's March brings together more than 500 people in a festive and solidarity day (25/05/2017)

In a festive and sporting atmosphere, around 300 people, most of them women, have taken part in the exit of Woman March 2017 from the Plaza de España.

An initiative of solidarity organized by the Department of Equality that counted on his departure with the participation of the mayor, José López;

There the participants have celebrated a coexistence with diverse activities with charitable spirit, solidarity and coexistence.

In this edition, funds have been raised for the Tio Vivo Foundation, a non-profit organization that offers assisted therapy with horses and other animals to people with disabilities.

The Tío Vivo Foundation was founded in 2005. It is a non-profit organization dedicated to social assistance that pioneered in the Region for its animal therapy and related nature for people with disabilities of different types.

This group has two centers, one of which is located in Cartagena, specifically in the town of Miranda, on the outskirts, where there are two people hired and the rest are volunteers.

It is a center open to any initiative, so he has taken the opportunity to invite people to meet them and come to see the work they do there.

After the march, the attendees have enjoyed a class of zumba and other series of activities, such as a raffle in which a picture has been provided by Asido, whose partners also join this event.

The Department of Equality has arranged several buses to take the participants to their destination of origin at the end of the day.
