In the facilities of the School of Public Safety of the City of Cartagena (ESPAC), in collaboration with the School of Training and Innovation of the Public Administration of Murcia (EFIAP), is held from 24 to 29 May the course on ' Sketch and topography applied to the reconstruction of accidents' in which a total of 24 Local Police agents from the whole Region participate.
This training activity is aimed at all Local Police in the Region who want to start their training in this area.
This is the first level within the training program in traffic and accident investigation, and the objectives are to know in depth the legislation and regulations that regulate the execution of traffic accident reports, as well as learn to interpret plans and maps and make measurements On the ground, scales, plane dimensions, distance measurements, heights, angles, mountains, slopes and arcs.
To do this you have to teach concepts of trigonometry and geometry.
The course examines the causes that could have caused the accident, physical issues that have intervened in the accident, in order to be able to reconstruct it with the maximum reliability and to be able to facilitate a sketch made with computer programs.
The training lasts for 20 hours and is taught by teachers with a long history in this type of training leading to regional coordination of accident reconstruction courses.
