The Fiestas of Pozo Estrecho dedicated yesterday to the Galilean Woman.
A day that began with a breakfast with cakes and chocolate for everyone who wanted to enjoy it, and continued with a meal in honor of the Galilean woman organized by the Association of Housewives of Well Narrow, which make up about 300 women.
About 200 of them participated in this meal that was held in the festival grounds' Huerto de Paco Saura and for which 4 huge paellas were cooked.
The Deputy Mayor of Cartagena, Ana Belén Castejón, and the Councilor for Equality, David Martínez Noguera, also participated in this meeting and were able to chat with the members and share that day of coexistence and celebration.
"The Galileans are working women, as well as great cooks, as they demonstrate every year in the making of the balls and in the traditional gastronomic contest that they celebrate for our holidays. It is always a pleasure for me to share with them such acts as today , In which they corroborate their magnificent capacity of organization and the vitality that they overflow, explained the deputy mayor.
After the meal, Martinez Noguera delivered a band and a bouquet of flowers to the Honorary Member of the Association of Housewives of Poso Estrecho.
Castejón also attended the evening of the Galileo Awards of the Year and Golden Plow, which fell to Conchi Vera and Eva Madrid, which the Deputy Mayor congratulated not only for these awards but also for the great work they do .
