More than 500 people will participate tomorrow, Thursday, May 25, in the new edition of Women's March, organized by the Department of Equality of the City of Cartagena, and depart at 10 am from the Plaza de España to tour the Alameda de San Antón, Sebastián Feringán Street and the Tentegorra road.
In the exit will be the mayor, Jose Lopez;
The Deputy Mayor, Ana Belén Castejón;
And the councilors of Equality, David Martinez, and Social Services, Carmen Martín.
This event, which will culminate in the park Rafael de la Cerda, where there will be a coexistence with various activities, has a spirit of charity, solidarity and coexistence, as this year will raise funds for the Foundation Tio Vivo, which is an entity without Profit organization that offers assisted therapy with horses and other animals to people with disabilities.
The Tío Vivo Foundation was founded in 2005. It is a non-profit organization dedicated to social assistance that pioneered in the Region for its animal therapy and related nature for people with disabilities of different types.
This group has two centers, one of which is located in Cartagena, specifically in the town of Miranda, on the outskirts, where there are two people hired and the rest are volunteers.
It is a center open to any initiative, so he has taken the opportunity to invite people to meet them and come to see the work they do there.
After the march, attendees can enjoy a class of zumba and other series of activities, such as a raffle in which will be drawn a table loaned by Asido, whose partners also join this event.
Upon completion, the Department of Equality will make available to the participants various buses to take them to their destinations.
