The Tercio de Levante Music Unit commemorates Armed Forces Day this Friday, May 26, with an extraordinary concert in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento, starting at 21.15 hours, which will count on the special collaboration of the group of Bagpipes and percussion 'Tambaire' and the violinist Gemma Sanchís.
Before the concert, the solemn handover of flag will be realized in the Military Government located next to the City council of the port city.
Directed by the commander and director of the Music Unit of the Tercio de Levante, Jaime Enguídanos, they will interpret a very varied repertoire, in which they will hear military marches of the three armies, Air, Earth and Armada.
Also, the Music Unit will tour different soundtracks of the best known films, such as the last Mohican, Game of Thrones or Save Private Ryan.
In this last piece will be narrated a story 'Confidencias de un Infante', which describes the feeling, memories and personal experiences of a soldier in international operations fulfilling his mission.
In addition, during the concert will premiere the popular song Entrelazados de Allariz by Carlos Nuñez, according to band version by the Enguídanos.
