The main actions that have been developed, and which have had excellent levels of acceptance and participation, have been:
Individual Itineraries of Personal and Social Promotion of Youth, which have meant an improvement in personal conditions in order to face the challenge of employment.
Pre-work Group Formative Actions, in which a process of theoretical and practical training (Bar and Restaurant Course) has been worked with young people.
At present, the young people are doing practices in different bars and restaurants of the municipality.
Actions of neighborhood participation and community dynamism and that have had their maximum expression in the I Conference of Community Health developed a week ago and in this Afternoon of Neighborhood Living.
School support for children to improve their school performance and artistic activities that expand the integral development of children in the neighborhood.
Family orientation to the parents of the minors assisted to train them and strengthen the bonds of the family unit and with the educational centers.
Customized insertion itineraries for women, expanding their personal and social skills.
Constitution of an active working group of women to improve coexistence in the neighborhood.
The planned program of activities is varied and diverse, and designed for all neighbors and neighbors.
Specifically:
From 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., three parallel educational activities will take place: A Healthy Eating Workshop, taught by technicians of the Department of Equality;
A Gymkhana for the neighborhood, aimed at children between the ages of 6 and 13;
And a playroom for the smallest (0 to 5 years).
From 18:00 hours to 19:00 hours musical performances will be developed by Custodire (El Coto).
At 7:00 p.m., the most institutional part of the event is scheduled, with the awarding of diplomas to participants in the various training activities that have been carried out under the project.
And already at 19:30 hours will be the closing of the afternoon of coexistence with a Healthy Snack.
Once again, the importance of community work involving the people of our neighborhoods is reemphasized, as we see that it translates into a significant advance in coexistence and social cohesion, and in The construction of a participatory neighborhood model, with neighbors and neighbors committed and therefore, in a neighborhood that actively bets on its future.
