The Local Government Board, meeting this morning, under the presidency of the mayor, José López, has approved a budget modification of only 2,750 euros, which will allow a substantial improvement for people with hearing disabilities who want to witness the plenary sessions of the City of Cartagena .
This is the amount that will be used for the installation of an audio-induction loop system in the Plenary Hall of the Consistorial Palace.
This frequency inhibition system solves the difficulties experienced by people who use hearing aids or who have implants for the interference.
As will be recalled, it has already been successfully tested at the plenary session on 30 December and will shortly be used in all plenary sessions.
