The Councils of Culture and Decentralization have regrouped their forces to bring cultural activities to each and every one of the corners of our municipality.
Thus, the new Circuit of Performing Arts, which has already begun to be represented in some districts and councils, constitutes a new bet so that all citizens can enjoy the talent of the companies of theater and dance with which Cartagena has.
On April 5 a meeting was held with the neighborhood representatives of all neighborhoods and councils attended by the councilors of Culture, David Martinez Noguera, and Decentralization, Juan Pedro Torralba.
In the course of this meeting was distributed a list with 46 shows to choose those who wanted to be represented in their localities, of these have been granted a maximum of 3 per association.
"This is a great project that we have managed to implement with the help of the Scenic Arts Platform and the Federation of Neighborhood Associations, and with which we intend to break down that wall that existed between the center of the city and the rest Of the municipality, which prevented all Cartagena had the same opportunities to enjoy culture in their own neighborhoods or towns, "said David Martinez Noguera.
In addition to this meeting, the mayor of Culture has also held meetings with different companies both theater and dance to ask them to adapt the contents to the area where the performance will take place.
