THE CINEMA HANNIBAL
The film club Hannibal was born from the group "Abraxas popular culture" in 1978, in a key social and political moment: the first years of transition, and with a strong need to recover freedom of expression and collective memory.
Throughout the last quarter of the twentieth century and the first decade of the XXI, until 2011, the Cine Hannibal film maintains a trajectory in which they alternate and they happen "Days of wine and roses" with some of "With the death in the heels".
Euphoria, difficulties, adaptation to the new times and different publics, but always with the clear vocation of love to the cinema and the objective of getting to Cartagena that cinema, those films that did not reach the commercial halls.
A group of fans who turned years, while tastes and times were changing, but found in the hobby and shared illusion a way to work for the cultural enrichment of Cartagena and left with its final disappearance a gap that still Today is to be covered.
