On May 13 and 14, the College of Marist Brothers of Cartagena celebrated the bicentenary of the foundation of the Marist congregation.

The events were celebrated with the motto "A new beginning", which "aims to remember and make known the renewing message of the Marists in the world" according to the website of the institution.

Among the events that took place on Saturday, the Marist community took a multitudinous family photo in front of the Consistorial Palace of Cartagena, which also posed the mayor of Cartagena, José López.

Already on Sunday was held the 'Race of the Marist Bicentennial', which had the collaboration of the City of Cartagena.
