Firefighters from the Fire Extinguishing and Rescue Service (SEIS) of the City of Cartagena yesterday used four hours and 20 cubic meters of water to quell the fire that was recorded in an abandoned house in the town of El Algar.
The incident originated at 18:29 hours, according to a warning from the 112 emergency telephone number. The property, known locally as "La casa de las pichorras", has suffered several fires in the past.
To the place was displaced an endowment composed by a heavy urban bomb, nurse pump and vehicle scale with a total of 7 firemen, 1 corporal and the head of guard.

Specifically in the wooden beams and false roof of the deck, which made it difficult to extinguish, which lasted until after 22:30 hours, having needed about 20,000 liters of water to do it completely.
As the house was isolated and uninhabited, there was no need to complain about personal injury or adjoining dwellings.
