One more course, the Popular University of Cartagena has achieved the goal of successfully preparing its adult students for the arduous project of entering university studies.
In recent weeks, 56% of them underwent UMU examinations and 44%, those of the UPCT.
The twelve students formed by the UP who have presented to enter the Polytechnic University have achieved the highest final grades of all candidates.
With the preparation that the students receive in the classrooms of the Ramón Alonso Luzzy Cultural Center they have been able to present themselves in the branches of Health, Humanities and Social in the UMU and by those of Engineering and Architecture and by way of Health in the Polytechnic.
The fact is that in the Popular University, unlike other centers, students can choose the subjects of Technical Drawing and Mathematics, which broadens their range of possibilities.
"Both the team of UP teachers and myself feel these days a great satisfaction for the work well done, which is reflected in the notes of their students. A satisfaction that is especially gratifying when it comes to adult students who decide to take up their Studies to continue their training.This access test will also be useful if they are preparing an opposition and do not hold the Bachelor's degree or if they need points for a job, "explained the Councilor for Education and Culture, David Martinez Noguera.
Soon, the Popular University will open the registration period for people interested in doing these studies during the course 2017/2018.
