Cartagena celebrates this weekend the Cruces de Mayo, and on this occasion Councilman Festejos, Juan Pedro Torralba, appeared Thursday at a press conference to give details of these parties, with the installation of a total of 48 crosses east Year, among which stands out, for its novelty, that the City of Cartagena will install, for the first time, at the doors of the Palace.
Specifically, there will be 10 crosses installed by associations and 25 establishments in the center of Cartagena, as well as 13 in neighborhoods and councils.
Among those that will be installed in the center are the cofradías of Holy Week and the Brotherhood of Romeros de San Ginés de la Jara, which will be located in their usual locations in other years.
In addition, the federation of troops and legions and the Federation of Comparsas and Chirigotas of Cartagena Carnival will also install their own junctions of May, as well as the 'Association of residents of Cuatro Santos and Ramón y Cajal' and the Citizen Platform 'Cartagena Centro' .
