The Councilor of We, Teresa Sánchez Caldentey, said this morning that "we will not attend more circuses in relation to the investigation of CATAD until we are granted the documents we have been asking since we entered the City."
This municipal group has registered an application for annulment of the commission scheduled for today, April 4, due to the lack of documentation for the study of the management of the municipal kennel.
"Neither does it seem legal or coherent that this commission is continuously present the manager of the concessionaire, or that we are not allowed to be accompanied by a consultant as in the rest of research commissions;
Neither the requested documentation is made available nor the convocation of said commission contains agenda.
They take us for imbeciles.
What do they hide?
We need to know what is done well and what is done wrong to correct errors and advance animal welfare, that this city goes to the tail of Europe in this area.
CTSSP considers the approval of the regional animal protection law and the elaboration of a municipal ordinance along the lines of Molina de Segura to be a priority, "the animals of this city are totally unprotected by the lack of law, by ordinance and, above all, Lack of knowledge and political will on the part of Councilor for Quality of Life, Francisco Calderón.
