Agents of the Local Police of Cartagena have visited the IES Elcano, coinciding with the International Day Against School Harassment, to report on the consequences of misuse of social networks and bullying, an activity in which Councils of Education and Security of the City of Cartagena.
During the visit, in addition to knowing the professional work of the police, the students of ESO First learned the problems about the misuse of social networks and mobile devices, as well as bullying at school, and the consequences derived therefrom.
"It is very important that children become aware of the risks involved in the misuse of social networks. It is fundamental to offer them training so that they make responsible and conscientious use and the Cartagena Local Police is doing an excellent job in this area." Explained the Councilor for Security, Francisco Aznar.
The agents have planned several more visits to other educational centers in the coming weeks.
It should be noted that in each and every one of the talks they have given have had an important participation on the part of the students, since it is a topic of interest and timeliness for them.
