The Councilor for Culture, David Martinez Noguera, presented this morning the second edition of Kultur-Al, the cultural week of El Albujón, which this year includes theater, storytelling, an exhibition of painting and a retrospective on their festivals.
The Festival Committee and the Neighborhood Association of El Albujón have managed to recover this event thanks to the support they have received from the Department of Culture, which stands firm in its commitment to give visibility to the cultural activities of neighborhoods and councils.
"For us it is very important that the culture reaches all corners of our municipality, that is why we encourage all activities of this type," said the mayor David Martinez.
The theatrical program will start this Friday, May 5 with the representation 'My mother in law has been lost' by the Pantomima group and will continue on Saturday 6 with the play 'Toc, toc' of the collective Loc @ s by the theater.
On Sunday May 7 will be the turn of the Murga that will conquer children and elders with his storyteller 'The Dreams of Celia'.
As a novelty, this year will be possible to contemplate two exhibitions in the Civic Center, one of them of painting, in charge of the artist Marisa Carrión;
And another one in which the costumes of old queens and ladies of the town, as well as of the books of celebrations from the year 1966 will be shown.
Martínez Noguera has invited all Cartagena people to visit this weekend El Albujón "and enjoy the traditional culture and folklore of this town".
