Agents of the Local Police of Cartagena for Citizen Security intervened this Monday, May 1, in the arrest of an individual who had been caught while stealing inside a house in the port city.

The events happened during the afternoon of Monday and were brought to the attention of the Local Police after a call of the emergency telephone 112 in which alert of the event.

To the place the agents moved, where they found that two neighbors had managed to retain the alleged perpetrator of the facts and, according to the manifestations of those present, they proceeded to their arrest.

The detainee was a 36-year-old man, who stole from the interior of the house that was inhabited, a wallet with 160 euros and various valuables among which were the keys of two vehicles.

Following the arrest, the displaced personnel read the rights of the detainee and police investigations were conducted on the matter.

Also, during the day of Monday, a woman of 36 years of age was surprised in the historical center that had removed from the interior of an establishment diverse garments valued in almost 120 euros.
