The councilman of Culture, David Martinez, attended on Sunday April 30 to the awards ceremony of the II Literary Contest Villa de Pozo Estrecho, whose jury is president, next to the president of the Neighborhood Council, Carolina Alvaro.
Also attending the event was the Councilor for Portal and Transparency Office, María José Soler.
The winners in the category of Poetry were: Lucia Pardo in Children, Sergio Martinez in youth, and Inma Caparrós in the section for adults.
As for the Short Story category the winners have been: Paula Soto in infantile, Mario Muñoz at juvenile level, and Enrique Javier Bastida in the section destined to adults.
The prizes consisted of a backpack with gifts and a book lot for the little ones, a tablet and a lot of books for the young and 300 euros and a lot of books for the elderly.
"The Contest has grown a lot in this second edition, in which it has consolidated, and is playing a very important role in promoting writing among Primary and Secondary students," said Martínez Noguera.
