Firefighters of the Fire Extinguishing Service and Rescue (SEIS) of the City of Cartagena last night rescued a person who was in the train track, after precipitating from the Alumbres bridge on the road that a Cartagena with La Unión.
A call from regional emergency service 112 issued a warning to firefighters about 11:20 pm, signaling that neighbors had seen this person rush from a height of six meters.
Firefighters agreed to the victim down a slope to check their condition was apparently serious.
After being stabilized by the medical staff, she was placed on a stretcher since she was transferred to the waiting ambulance.
The difficulty of transferring the victim to the ambulance made it necessary to mount a rope installation while attending to the victim below, so that the stretcher could be recovered safely.
