The Plaza del Ayuntamiento is hosting this Saturday, April 29, the celebration of the International Dance Day with a festival that will run throughout the day in which more than 400 students and 30 teachers from different schools and dance studios from Cartagena .
Thus, the multitudinal events will be held from 11.00 to 14.00 hours and from 18.00 to 20.30 hours, in a day where music and dance will be present at all times.
Starting at 9.30 pm, the Professionals Gala will also begin, also in the Town Hall Square, which will feature Cartagena artists such as Natividad Guerrero, Tony & Vanessa Solano, Ana López, Cristina Valle & Ángeles Luque, Mateo Amante & Ana Penalva de las Heras , Marta & Felix, Patricia Magaña, Ana Siyassa & Natividad Guerrero, Laura del Sol, Hawah Bundaka, Paco López & Kiki Ortiz, Tony and Margot de la Encarnación.
During the gala, the public can enjoy dance performances by the great professionals of this artistic discipline in different styles such as oriental, flamenco, classical, neoclassical, contemporary dance, indie-hop dance or dance Of fabrics.
Through this program of activities, organized by the Department of Culture of the City of Cartagena under the coordination of Margarita Amante and the collaboration of studies and dance schools in the city, it is intended to extend dance as a cultural practice among citizens , In a fun way for everyone to enjoy practicing it.
